Patient FAQ

Answers before your first visit

What you should do first, what to expect, and how we keep everything organized.

Most asked questions
Do you treat auto accident injuries in the Rio Grande Valley?
Yes. We help people after car accidents with a structured plan: assessment, documentation, hands-on care, rehab, and progress tracking. If your case involves an attorney, we can share updates and records when authorized.
How soon should I get checked after a crash (even if I feel “okay”)?
The next day if possible especially if you begin to experience stiffness, headaches, back/neck pain, dizziness, numbness/tingling, or sleep disruption. Symptoms can also appear later because of adrenaline + inflammation delay. Early evaluation helps you understand what’s happening and creates a baseline for your recovery plan.
If symptoms are severe (chest pain, fainting, weakness, severe headache, new confusion, loss of bladder/bowel control), seek urgent/emergency care now.
What’s the first visit like?
Your first visit is built to reduce uncertainty:
  • History + goals (what hurts, what changed, what you need to get back to).
  • Exam + movement testing (so we treat the cause, not just symptoms).
  • Clear plan (what we’re doing, why, how often, and how we’ll measure progress).
  • Documentation (organized records for continuity and, when appropriate, case coordination).
Do you coordinate with my attorney?
Yes. We keep care organized and communication straightforward: what we found, what we’re treating, how you’re progressing, and what’s next.
We only share information with proper consent/authorization.
Do I need a referral?
No. You can contact us directly. If your situation requires imaging, a specialist opinion, or urgent care screening, we’ll direct you appropriately.
Do you accept insurance? Medicare? Car accident claims?
We keep billing simple:
  • Auto accident claims: accepted.
  • Medicare: not accepted.
  • Individual health insurance plans: not billed (private pay).
  • FSA/HSA: accepted.
If you want, we’ll explain your options on the phone in 60 seconds.
How long does treatment take?
It depends on your injury severity, how long it’s been, and how consistently you can follow the plan. Our goal is not endless visits, it’s measurable progress.
What should I bring to my appointment?
  • Photo ID
  • Any paperwork you were given (ER/urgent care notes, imaging reports if you have them)
  • Your attorney info (if you already have representation)
  • Comfortable clothes (or change of clothes)
What conditions do you commonly help with?
Most commonly: neck/back pain, headaches after an accident, shoulder/hip/knee pain, stiffness, radiating symptoms, post-surgical recovery, swelling support, and “I just don’t move the same anymore.” You can browse all services here.
How do I get started today?
The fastest path is a quick call so we can place you correctly (and tell you what to do first if anything urgent is present).
